Stubs & Updates

LOPs provides the ability to create stubs and update the LOP operators in the current project.

Caution

Both of these features permanently remove internal data from components. Any history or stored information will be lost when you update components or create/replace stubs.

What are Stubs?

Stubs can be created in order to remove the internal data of all LOPs components, while keeping all connections and parameter values.

• Allows for sharing of projects and workflows without actually sharing the full LOPs installation
• Can be restored to full components when needed by yourself or other users with the Replace Stubs pulse

Replacing Stubs

When you need to work with a component again:

1. Select the main dot_lops container
2. Go to the “Stubs” tab
3. Click “Replace Stubs”
4. Confirm in the dialog

All stub components will be restored to their full functionality.

Keeping Components Updated

The “Update All” feature lets you update all LOPs components in your project to the latest version:

1. Select the main dot_lops container
2. Go to the “Stubs” tab
3. Click “Update All”
4. Confirm in the dialog

Note

Caution, this will remove ALL internal data. Meaning any history or information that is stored in the operator will be lost when you update or create / replace stubs.
